about jill

Jill Winters realized that she preferred fiction to term papers when she wrote her first novel Plum Girl instead of her master's dissertation.  Coincidentally, this was around the same time she became a sleep-deprived, ruminating coffee-junkie.  A Phi Beta Kappa, summa cum laude graduate of Boston College with a degree in history, Jill has taught Women's Studies as well as numerous workshops for aspiring writers.  She is the author of five novels, including Just Peachy, Raspberry Crush, Blushing Pink and Lime Ricky.  Her books have topped the Barnes & Noble Bestseller Lists and Book Sense's Top Ten, and her debut novel Plum Girl was a finalist for the Dorothy Parker Award of Excellence.

Jill also contributed essays to the pop culture anthologies Flirting with Pride and Prejudice, Welcome to Wisteria Lane, Coffee At Luke's, and House Unauthorized, in bookstores now.  Currently at work on a new book, Jill can be reached by email.
