Text Box: bio

Jill Winters realized that she preferred fiction to term papers when she wrote her first novel, Plum Girl, instead of her master's dissertation. Coincidentally, this was around the same time she became a sleep-deprived, ruminating coffee-junkie...

A Phi Beta Kappa, summa cum laude graduate of Boston College with a degree in history, Jill has taught Women's Studies, as well as numerous workshops for aspiring writers.  She is the author of five novels, including Just Peachy, Blushing Pink, Lime Ricky, and Raspberry Crush, all published by Penguin Group.  Her books have topped the Barnes & Noble Bestseller Lists and Book Sense's Top Ten, and her debut novel, Plum Girl, was a finalist for the Dorothy Parker Award of Excellence.

Jill also contributed essays to several anthologies, including Flirting with Pride & Prejudice, Coffee At Luke's, and House Unauthorized.  Currently at work on a new book, Jill can be reached by email.
